Lisa’s Local Art Collective: A New Christmas Shopping Experience in Kingswood
Local artists, handmade gifts and unique Christmas finds - all under one roof this Christmas.
Something exciting is coming to Kingswood this Christmas!
I’m really pleased to be launching Lisa’s Local Art Collective, a festive pop-up bringing together a selection of independent local artists, makers and creative businesses at the Indoor Market on Regent Street, Kingswood.
The Collective will run from Monday 16th November to Saturday 19th December 2026, giving local shoppers the chance to discover something a little different for Christmas while supporting small, independent creative businesses.
Why create a local art collective?
As a local artist myself, I know how important it is to have opportunities to get your work in front of new customers.
I wanted to create something that wasn't just about my own artwork, but could bring together lots of different creative businesses and give shoppers a reason to visit, browse and discover something new.
The idea is simple: create a colourful, welcoming Christmas shopping space filled with original artwork, handmade products and unique gift ideas from local creatives.
Whether you're looking for a present for someone else or treating yourself, hopefully there'll be something that catches your eye!
What will you find at the Collective?
I've been putting together a varied selection of products, so there should be plenty to browse.
🎨 Art & Illustrations
You'll find a range of artwork and illustration, including:
Wildlife art and animal artwork
Local and street art
Bristol-inspired fine line illustrations
Hand-cut paper pictures
Unique hand-painted decorations
🏺 Pottery, Glass & Woodwork
For something handmade for the home, there will be:
Ceramics
Kiln-formed fused glass
Pyrography
Wood-burned chopping boards and coasters
🎁 Gifts, Fragrance & Stationery
There will also be lots of smaller gift ideas, including:
Wax melts
Reed diffusers
Greeting cards
Baby gifts
Bristol-themed souvenirs
Other unique handmade gifts
📿 Accessories
You'll also find handmade accessories, including clay bead bracelets and other creative gift ideas.
And, of course, you'll also find plenty of Lisa’s Local Art throughout the Collective, including my own original artwork, cards and gifts.
Meet the local artists and makers
One of the things I'm most excited about is bringing together a selection of independent creatives with completely different styles and products.
Rather than visiting a shop where everything looks the same, the Collective will give you the chance to discover lots of different creative businesses in one place.
I'll be introducing the participating artists and makers over the coming weeks, so keep an eye on my Facebook and Instagram pages for previews and introductions.
You can also visit the Lisa’s Local Art Collective webpage to see who's taking part and find all the latest information.
Come and shop local this Christmas
Christmas is a great time to support independent businesses, and buying from a local artist or maker means your purchase can make a real difference to a small creative business.
The Collective is all about discovering something special, finding gifts that are a little different and supporting local creativity at the same time.
So if you're looking for Christmas gifts in Kingswood, original artwork, handmade presents or something unusual for someone who is difficult to buy for, we'd love you to come and have a browse.
